Have you ever seen a rescue dog in action? In the articles “Hide-and-Seek School” by Vivienne Lenk and “It’s a Dog’s Life” by Rebecca Upjohn Snyder it explains working dogs jobs and what they do. These two stories are similar in many ways. On the other hand they are also very different. In this paper I will explain these differences and similarities in detail of the articles.

In the articles “Hide-and-Seek School” by Vivienne Lenk and “It’s a Dog’s Life” by Rebecca Upjohn Snyder it explains working dogs jobs and what they do. These two stories are similar in many ways. In the articles, one way they are similar is that in both articles it explains how both jobs, rescue dogs and sheep herders, the dogs always have to be focused or they might fail their job. In the articles “Hide-and-Seek School” by Vivienne Lenk and “It’s a Dog’s Life” by Rebecca Upjohn Snyder they also both have good instinct because it says that the border collies have the instinct to herd or corral flocks of sheep and other animals. The rescue dogs all most all ways have the instinct to fetch or to find their companion. Lastly, in the articles it says that both types of dogs can take simple commands such as “Jack! Come by” and others that help them do their job. However, the articles have some differences too.

The articles have many similarities. While they both have differences. If I was caught in an avalanche then I would want a rescue dog to save me. Some of the books that I have read have talked about how dogs help people. The articles both explain some of the many jobs for dogs. Both jobs are needed in the world and thats why we need more jobs for dogs.
